Pets, Our Family, Our Inspiration
With 2 kids, 3 dogs and 1 cat, we well know the value of a friendly neighborhood pet store that could be our one-stop source of premium food, treats and supplies. When designing Le Chic Pet Boutique and Spa, we spent time thinking about what was important to us as pet owners with all-too-busy lives.
The must-have was creating an enjoyable place to bathe our pets. Professional grooming is too expensive for those times when we just needed to freshen up for guests or had spent the day romping around the dog park. And we know that bathing our pets at home becomes a double chore because as soon as the job of cleaning your pet is over then you have to clean your whole bathroom! The smell, hair in the drain and inevitable sore back really made us realize that a true one-stop neighborhood pet store would include a cost effective alternative to expensive groomers or wrecking your own house!
Next we thought about what appealed to us as shoppers and how we could improve upon the pet store shopping experience. We came up with a boutique style store that thoughtfully blends the Issaquah Highlands urban village lifestyle with unexpected design rarely seen in a pet specialty store. With soaring ceilings and stained concrete floors, our store is bright and airy and invites you to stay awhile. Our knowledgeable staff is enthusiastic about the quality products we carry and always ready to answer your non-veterinary questions or share what we know about pet nutrition or the newest toys.
In short, we’re just like you - looking for a cool place with people who get it and goods that will improve the quality of life for us and our pets. We think we’ve created that place. And we’re proud to share it with you.
